CALL FOR ENTRIES

Artists living in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington DC are invited to apply for the 2024 Regional Fine Art Juried Exhibition, ‘Static’ taking place at Artisan Alley Fine Art Gallery. Deadline for entries is July 15th, 2024. The 2024 juror is David Kube.

Theme: Static

The radio hisses with static, crackling between two points of fidelity. This is a space brimming with energy yet hollow and empty. It is the same static that pervades our surroundings as we navigate a culture fixated on constant stimulation; an illusory energy that distracts us from more meaningful moments.  Yet static can also hold us in place, preventing us from moving forward or allowing us a moment of respite.

This call invites artists to consider the multifaceted aspects of Static. What discoveries await within the static?  How do we navigate when static becomes a place of stagnation?  This exhibition is open to all media.

    Selection process

Our goal is to make the process of jurying efficient and fair. The independent juror will select the works of art to be included in the exhibition from the qualified entries. All work accepted is the result of the decision of the judge based on the merit of each individual submission.

    Notification

Entry of artwork and payment of entry fee do not guarantee acceptance into exhibit. Not all works will be accepted, and you will be notified if your works have been accepted by August 4th, 2024.

    Delivery and Shipping

Accepted artwork must be received by September 20th, 2024.

Artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of artwork and any associated shipping costs. Include a return shipping label with your box. Artwork shipped to the Gallery will be returned beginning December 2nd, 2024. Art should be sent in sturdy, reusable containers for safe shipping.
